REALTOR Eric Malmberg Named 2008 REALTOR of the Year

December 12, 2008 (Eagan, MN) – REALTOR Eric Malmberg of RE/MAX Advantage Plus in Savage was named the 2008 REALTOR of the Year by the Southern Twin Cities Association of REALTORS (STCAR) at the annual Installation and Holiday Banquet.  The event was held at Mendakota Country Club in Mendota Heights.

 

The 2008 REALTOR of the Year’s commitment and dedication has been proven by the level of involvement with the Southern Twin Cities Association of REALTORS but also by the individual’s experience within the real estate industry.

 

Since joining the Association in 1999, Malmberg has contributed many hours and ideas for the benefit of the real estate industry through work on numerous committees and task forces. He believes in giving back to the industry and to the community in which he lives and works.

 

His community involvement includes the local YMCA, Gillette Children’s Hospital Miracle Maker, local youth sports programs, Ducks Unlimited, Pheasants Forever, where he was the lead sponsor in a funding raising effort by donating and planting several thousand evergreen trees. He has sponsored and participated in local programs to recognize the achievements of young women.

 

As the broker of RE/MAX Advantage Plus, Malmberg continually receives awards and recognition for his commitment, guidance and representation in helping to improve the image of the real estate industry. He gives of himself for the improvement of others and as such, demonstrates the kind of leadership that makes the association, the real estate industry and the world a better place.
